Growing up, we were told of the things that went bump in the night, the sinister creatures that roamed the earth, in search of their next meal. Hunting their unsuspecting prey. Things were different then. They were merely stories parents told their kids to stop them from sneaking out, a way to frighten us around a campfire. Or so I thought.
