Supposedly, the annual ball was formed to prevent pack wars, not that it did, so it seems pointless to me. Though, besides a few rogue attacks, our pack lives in peace. No one dared go up against my father. He is a ruthless and cruel Alpha. Yet still, I worry about those who might be stupid enough to try.
