Crouching on the cold hard floor, my hands firmly over my ears, I tried to block out what was going on around me. How could he do this? Right in front of me? 'Angel, look at me,' his voice commanded. There was blood all over the floor, the two men lay motionless on the floor. Bile rose into my mouth as he pushed me closer to them. 'Please,' I whimpered wanting to look away. 'Have you learned the lesson?!' his voice growing louder. 'Yes.' 'Now say it.' 'I'm yours.' 'Whose?' 'Yours.' Ariel thought that moving to a new town meant a fresh start, a better life then in her previous town. Chapter 1: The beginning

The sun shone clearly through the clouds as I approached my destination. Cedar creek was a town slightly bigger then my last which I was thankful for. I shuddered remembering all the rumours that circulated about me before I packed up and left.

Pulling up to the single storey house I hoped this would be a good start for me, a place no one knew my name or anything about me.

The house was grey in colour and styled like a modern Hampton house, it was just missing the beach behind it. This was my mother's house. Her and my father split when I was three years old and she moved across the country. Back then my father received custody of me because my mum didn't work.

My phone tinged letting me know I received a text message. Glancing down I saw it was my dad.
