Chapter 1

Harper's POV

I woke up to the sunlight streaming through the hotel curtains and the warmth of his arms around me.

"Good morning, my sweet Henry," I whispered while shifting and drawing idle circles on his chest.

It had been my 18th birthday yesterday, and I wanted to have the best time with my loving boyfriend. We had been together for three years, and I wanted our first time to be on a special day. I could feel the soreness in my thighs and hips, but the sex had been worth it.

Plus, he was leaving to study abroad soon. Dedicating my virginity to Henry was a gift for both of us.

I hadn't shifted yet so I couldn't really figure it out, but I believe he was my true mate.

He shifted his body, a soft sigh escaping his lips, followed by a velvety voice. "Fi…you’re awake."

His scent hit me, his touch lit sparks all over my body so that I didn't notice the name he called at first second.
