Chelsea married Russell for the sake of her dying mother. She needed money to pay the expensive medical bills. Russell never loved Chelsea and was only using her for his revenge on his family. However, he failed to notice that Chelsea was truly in love with him. Russell was surrounded by pretty ladies and never cared how Chelsea felt about it. Until one day, Chelsea asked for a divorce, because she felt depleted from this hopeless marriage. Russell then realized that he couldn't live without her and begged her to stay.
Chapter 1
"Chelsea, are you on your way to the hospital?"
The doctor urged again on the phone. Chelsea glanced at her phone and still got no reply from her husband.
Last night, Russell Murillo was wasted when he got home from a dinner party.
So, Chelsea had to take care of Russell throughout the night. Then, she got sick from a cold.
She woke up with a high fever the next morning.
She was too sore to get out of bed, but the hospital called her to go over and check on her mother, Shirley.
Chelsea turned to Russell for help, but he simply hung up on her.
She sighed while she kept dialing his number.
But Russell simply blacklisted her.
Chelsea stared at the phone screen with hollowed eyes. How could he? This was what she deserved after looking after him the whole night?
He got up in the morning and left without a word, while she fell asleep at the coffee table in the living room, without a blanket. Now he wouldn't even bother to pick up her calls.
